OneHeart Project is a charity Carmen Co-founded.  This project began as a feature film that morphed into a movement.  OneHeart exists to give at-risk and incarcerated youth a second chance.  The charity kicked off in the fall of 2010 at Cowboy Stadium with over 800 people in attendance, including many of the Cowboy's star players and coaches.  The OneHeart founders and producers premiered their award winning documentary at the kick-off.  The short film is called "The Last Generation"  . This film won a Telly award for best short documentary.  Carmen has always led with her heart. While working as a producer on the film OneHeart    and OneHeart Project she started mentoring youth from prison, this work put her in the national spotlight.  Carmen has been featured on Good Morning America , Inside Edition, and many other national news outlets.  She has spoke in prisons, churches, schools, and businesses about the power of transformation through love.  It was through this experience that she realized her greatest gift.  She sees the masterpiece of an individual heart.  "I chip away at the stone until "The David" appears....I am in love with the Human Art within the human heart." The ability to share your heart with anyone to their advantage is a privilege Carmen appreciates more than anything.  One of the greatest success stories of OneHeart Project is Mack White.  Mack came to OneHeart at the age of 19 straight out of prison.  Mack is  now a speaker and professional actor.  Mack has shared the speaking platform with many greats.  Tony Dungy, Ex-NFL coach and Sports Television Anchor has personally invited Mack to speak in prisons with him.  He has also been in 3 feature films.   In Carter High Mack played the lead role along side Vivica Fox and many more.
